SPAN 1010 - Elementary Spanish
A beginners course into the Spanish language. Introduces basic grammar and vocabulary principles as the foundation for building oral and written proficiency. Includes a language laboratory course.
SPAN 2010 - Intermediate Spanish
Delves deeper into the Spanish language, specifically grammar and vocabulary, by practicing listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
SPAN 3020 - Intermediate Spanish Grammar and Composition
Discussion about the structure, verbs, idioms and vocabulary in the Spanish language. Also includes the introduction to syntax and stylistics through composition.

Included in this list is a short description of each individual class.
SPAN 1020 - Elementary Spanish
Continuation of SPAN 1010. Emphasizes the basic principles of the Spanish language.
SPAN 2020 - Intermediate Spanish
Continuation of SPAN 2010. Improves listening, speaking, reading, and writing in the Spanish language.
SPAN 3050 - Intermediate Spanish Conversation / Comp 1
Emphasis on the practice of speaking the Spanish language, focusing mainly on vocabulary, pronunciation, intonation, and comprehension.
Culture and Literature Cultures
SPAN 3080 - The Hispanic World: Latin America
Introduction to the significant aspects of Latin American culture. There is an emphasis on the political, economical, geographical, social, and artistic aspects of the culture.
SPAN 4160 - Spanish for Int'l Business 2
Continuation of SPAN 3160. Focus on more complex business issues, including social, political, and economic issues related to Spanish culture.
SPAN 4070 - Hispanic Film
Analyze a variety of films and literature from Spanish culture while learning about the different cinematographic techniques used.
SPAN 3160 - Spanish for Int'l Business 1
Introduction to Spanish within a business setting, including business vocabulary, cultural concepts, and situational practice. Includes spoken and written work for practice.
SPAN 3070 - The Hispanic World: Spain
Introduction to the significant aspects of Spain, emphasizing the artistic, social, historical, political, and contemporary issues.
SPAN 4420 - Translation Seminar
Introduction to the practice of translating texts from the Spanish language to the English language and vice versa. Description of the different techniques and vocabulary used when translating.
Business Courses
ECON 2110 - Principles of Microeconomics
Introduction to the core foundations of microeconomics as well as other important factors, such as competition, international trade, and monopoly.
ECON 3100 - International Econ
Develops knowledge about the process of international commerce, including the topics of trade and exchange rates and current policy issues.
ECON 3150 - International Macro
Continuation of topics introduced in ECON 2110. Focuses mainly on the points of inflation and unemployment rates while looking at statistics and theories. Also analyzes the public policies that are addressing these issues.
MGT 2180 - Management PC Applications
Introduced a variety of different computer applications through a hands-on work environment. Put an emphasis on learning specific excel functions.
MKT 3010 - Principles of Marketing
Introduction to basic marketing concepts that have to do with handling goods and services.
ECON 2120 - Principles of Macroeconomics
Explored the study of aggregate economic performance with topics such as the rates of inflation, unemployment and economic growth. Continuation of topics learned in ECON 2110.
ECON 3140 - Intermediate Micro
Continuation of topics introduced in ECON 2110. Conversation included the study of value and distribution under a variety of different market conditions.
MGT 2010 - Principles of Management
Introduction to management’s role as a factor of economic production. Functions of management, principles of organization, and behavior in organizations.
MGT 4230 - International Business Management
Analysis of certain international business operations. Through various lectures and discussions, students learned about exporting, importing, and the international payment system.
MKT 3020 - Consumer Behavior
This class continued the discussion of topics introduced in MKT 3010. The knowledge about consumer decision making was enhanced through the examination of different science topics.
MKT 4270 - International Marketing
Advanced knowledge of marketing from the international perspective. Concentration on the important topics of marketing and how they must be modified for foreign markets.

Introduction to a variety of texts seen in a professional business setting including letters, reports and proposals. Focus mainly on audience, context, and purpose.
MATH 2070 - Business Calculus 2
Continuation of MATH 1020. Discuss calculus of several variables, differential calculus and optimization of several variables.
ACCT 1020 - Financial Accounting Concepts
Analyzing a variety of accounting principles, emphasizing the use of financial data and financial statements.
ENGL 2020 - Lit Forms and Creative Writing
Enhances knowledge of basic structures and elements of fiction, poetry, and drama. Includes readings in American, British, and world literature to further the knowledge.
MATH 1020 - Business Calculus 1
Introduction course into the concepts and applications of calculus. Students will learn topics such as graphing, differentiation, and integration.
PHYS 1220 - Physics with Calculus
Introduction to calculus-based physics with topics including vectors, laws of motions, and gravitation.
PSYC 2010 - Intro to Psychology
Introduction to the study of behavior through the analysis of different behaviors. Emphasis on learning, thinking, motivation, human development and social behavior.
PSYC 3830 - Abnormal Psychology
Develops knowledge on the diagnosis and treatment of mental illnesses. Discusses the symptoms, causes, and treatments of common illnesses seen in today's society.

ELE 3010 - Entrepreneurial Foundations
Introduction of the foundations of entrepreneurship including topics of idea generation, building effective teams, generating business models, and strategies for effective communication.
ELE 4030 - Venture Growth
Application of entrepreneurial skills through a simulation that allows for the practice of key skills like managing, leading, and growing a business.
ELE 4010 - Venture Concept Testing
By using principles learned in ELE 3010, one will create and test a business concept developed with fellow students.
ELE 4040 - Entrepreneurial Resource Acquisition
The introduction of startups and the basics of fundraising. This seminar class goes through the different types of startups and the different stages necessary for them.
ELE 4080 - Family Business
Analysis of family businesses and the different elements of one. Includes an immersion project to learn from someone who knows about family businesses firsthand.
